Another card from my "greeting card theme cards" collection, for Mother's day. This tall card has a heart die-cut embellishment on a spring mounted inside with a cute "Mom" illustrated. So cute, the little guy illustrated on the cover is holding this card.  Made by Rust Craft Pub c. 1950s

Both were first used 1977 until approx 1983.

very sweet and country themed~ along the same vein of  Holly Hobbie and Sunshine Family, both popular at the time.

George Buzza went into the commercial art business in 1907
He is famous for his beautiful lithographs and "mottos", which are well collected.

Rust Craft Publishers is another of the great old card companies that was founded by brothers. Fred Winslow Rust opened a one-room bookshop in Kansas City, September 1906. He published his first greeting card just one month later. His brother Donald, joined him in 1907 and by summertime they had published their own line of cards.
